Extracts from the Film A Hard Day’s Night: Chart Success
This was going to be another decent EP for those who saw the film. After it’s release on November 4, 1964, it entered the charts just 10 days later. Indeed, the EP spent 30 weeks on the charts. Moreover, within a few weeks, it reached the top.
It was on top for two weeks before being nudged out. However, it gained momentum again and then topped the charts for a further three weeks. A similar thing would happen, and it would top the charts one final time before falling sales affected its position. But 30 weeks on the charts is no mean feat.
There were also releases of the EP in Australia, New Zealand, Spain, and France. We are trying to establish the chart positions in those countries. So, can you help with this? Indeed, you can comment about the record below.
