The Beatles (No. 1) (EP): Chart Success
By the time this EP reached the shops, Beatlemania was in full swing. The Fab Four had two previous EPs that did well, and this was destined to achieve even more success.
The Beatles (No. 1) (EP) charted in the UK on November 9, 1963, and it spent 29 weeks on the charts. But unlike the previous two EPs, this one didn’t go to the top.
However, peaking at number 2 was good enough. After all, most of their fans would have the Please Please Me album, which has all the songs.

They released this EP in New Zealand as well. However, we don’t know how well it performed there, unless you can help. Be that as it may, the songs on this record were all widely available elsewhere. Therefore, it was just a quick fix for some.
