Beatles Not On YouTube Again

Has anyone else noticed that many Beatles videos seem to disappear from YouTube from time to time?
I’m seeing plenty of official uploads via Vevo now, but some older clips I used to watch are missing.

I’m trying to find the video where John Lennon forgets his lyrics — I think it might have been *Help!* but I can’t be sure. Maybe I imagined it!

My brother insists it never happened, but I’m sure I saw it years ago.
It’s odd that so many videos get taken down — maybe it’s to do with copyright control or region restrictions.
I have most of the albums, but sometimes you just want to see them performing live!

I can’t help with that video, Julie. If Lennon did slip up, it wouldn’t be surprising — the crowd noise was deafening at those shows!
YouTube used to have far fewer Beatles clips, but more official ones are available now.
I imagine Apple Corps and the rights holders just prefer keeping the quality and ownership consistent.

I know what you mean! I saw a documentary recently where he seemed to forget a line mid-song. Could have been Help! or something similar.

Same here — sometimes videos appear, then vanish. Maybe it depends on which country you’re in or who uploads them.

Without The Beatles on YouTube, the place might as well close down in my opinion

You’re right — some videos are blocked in certain countries. I’ve run into that myself.
